My key isn't lighting up — is that a bug?

Not necessarily. Some keys (like Fn, the Windows key, and certain media controls) are intercepted by your operating system before reaching the browser — no web-based tester can detect them. If a regular alphanumeric or punctuation key isn't registering, that's worth reporting. Please include your browser name, OS, and which key is affected.

How do I report a bug effectively?

The more detail, the better. Please include: (1) which tool/page has the bug, (2) your browser and version (e.g. Chrome 124), (3) your operating system (Windows 11, macOS Sonoma, etc.), (4) your keyboard layout if relevant, and (5) steps to reproduce the problem. Screenshots are a huge help if you can attach them via email.
